Markets and Community’s Training and Networking Events
As part of Markets and Community’s vision, we would like to offer training and networking opportunities to our advertised markets and businesses.
We take pride in working closely with the markets and businesses and from this we believe that these businesses need some help to take the next step especially when it comes to marketing and social media. We are working with some amazing speakers to tailor an event especially for these businesses.

We are aiming for 3 speakers for the night, the topics covered will be:
1. Taking your business to the next level – Are you trying to sell on line but are really struggling?
2. Social Media and what options there are for your business and markets.
3. Marketing your business – Don’t know where to start?
The speakers have been chosen to cater especially for the markets, stallholders and online businesses, so the discussion will be relevant to you.
Due to numerous networking sessions out there and so much information online we have taken a different approach to this night, whilst are speakers are going to be saying a few words the night will be in your control. We are planning the night to be about you, so you get to dictate the information that is going to be talked about.
The night will be a Q&A session about the topics above. We will be giving a chance for some of our ticket holders to ask some questions before the night so that we can collate the questions, but we will also be having open questions on the night.
Our speakers on the night are:
Alli will be talking about “your business as a whole” where she will discuss the importance of research, time management, planning, outsourcing and so much more. She will be part of our panel where we will be running an open forum where you can ask her questions.
I am part of Motivating Mum’s Business Mums Club and we call her google Alli because of her wealth of knowledge in running a small business. If you need help with just sprucing up your website to finding someone to write a sales manual she will be able to guide you to the right people.

Our second speaker at the event is Tell IT Media‘s Irma Zimmerman who has kindly offered to be our social media expert at our event.
With over 17 years of digital media experience conducting business in Switzerland, London, South Africa and Australia we have this amazingly beautiful woman who is going to be covering our social media section.
We approached Irma because of her knowledge across all social media platforms including Pinterest which is becoming an important tool for small businesses that sell online, she will also give us tips on managing our social media efficiently.
Our third speaker is Marketing Bee’s Sharon Latour who will be discuss marketing for your small business.
I met Sharon at her network in pink night that Markets and Community sponsored through advertising the event. Her creativeness is amazing as you will notice from her facebook posts that Marketing Bee put out.
Marketing Bee is a creative marketing agency helping small and medium businesses. Their intent is to share info that will help individual entrepreneurs and businesses discover how to use the power of marketing.
Marketing Bee have also kindly offered to give our attendees a copy of one of their marketing e-books in print.
